What’s our story?

After the success of the bustling Bastille Festival Christmas edition in December 2021, we decided to return last year with a fully-fledged French-European night market for Sydneysiders. That’s how Le Jolly Market was born.

Our ambition now is to diversify the Jolly Market by adding more local artisans and chefs. It’s all about cheering to Christmas with premium wines under magical lights, sharing gourmet food, and offering artisanal gifts.

Le Jolly Market delivers for Sydneysiders a unique gourmet food offering. Melted cheese stations, lobster rolls, organic street food, crêpes, oysters & champagne pairing, you’ll find your jam during the Christmas Nights of the Jolly Market.

While feasting on your guilty pleasure, sip on a delicious curated selection with relish. Our Jolly bars are filled with premium French and local wines and beers for you to cheer the night away!

Christmas decor, mistletoe and Santa Claus – the program of a magic night out

Stroll through our authentic wood hut chalets, and while you dive into our blinding dazzling Christmas decor, fairy lights and candles by the giant Customs House Christmas tree, lift your nose to feel the snowflakes drizzle from above. 

Start your night out by walking through the beautiful entry arch of the Jolly Market and follow the timeless tradition of kissing your loved one under the mistletoe. An experience to remember and your ultimate Instagram moment!

Jazz nights – Groove on your all-time favourite Christmas classics

Customs House is going to swing ! The Jolly Market chooses to praise the Holiday season in jazz. 

Every night from 7.00 PM, the Christmas Nights lavishly celebrate the spirit of the festive season through every old but gold jazzy Christmas classic tunes. Whether you’d rather dance your heart out under the lights of the Christmas tree or quietly hum holding your glass of Champagne, praise the Holiday in music!
